These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Skillogies and form a legally binding agreement between you and Skillogies. By accessing or using any part of our website, services, or digital features, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms. If you do not accept or agree to any part of them, you should not use the platform.
Please read these Terms carefully before using Skillogies, as they contain important information about your rights, responsibilities, and the conditions under which we provide our services.
Throughout this document, the terms “Skillogies”, “we”, “our” or “us” refer to the Skillogies platform (skillogies.com), its features, content, tools, and any associated software, applications, or services operated by or on behalf of Skillogies.

1. Scope of Service
Skillogies offers a web-based platform designed to help individuals create professional documents such as resumes and cover letters. Our tools are built to support job seekers, career changers, students, and professionals at all stages of their career development.
The platform includes a range of features — including document editors, formatting templates, guided writing prompts, and content previews — that are intended for personal, non-commercial use. If you would like to use Skillogies on behalf of a company, organization, or for clients (such as in recruitment or consulting), please contact us to explore a dedicated business arrangement.
We reserve the right to improve, enhance, or adjust the platform at any time. This includes changes to available features, templates, design layouts, functionality, or navigation — with the goal of delivering a better user experience and staying aligned with evolving industry standards and feedback.
Some parts of the platform may be freely accessible, while advanced tools and additional templates require a Premium subscription. All available features, pricing, and terms are clearly described before purchase. We may offer new plans, introduce limited-time promotions, or discontinue legacy features at our discretion.
Please note that Skillogies is not a recruitment agency and does not guarantee employment or job placement outcomes. Our service is intended as a support tool in the application process, and the success of your job search depends on many factors beyond our control.
2. User Responsibilities
By using Skillogies, you agree to do so in a lawful, respectful, and responsible manner. Our platform is designed to help you advance your career — and we expect that you will use it in ways that reflect this purpose.
As a user of Skillogies, you agree to the following:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if we detect behavior that violates these responsibilities, especially if it may cause harm to Skillogies, its users, or our infrastructure.
3. Content Ownership and Usage Rights
All content, features, and tools available on the Skillogies platform — including but not limited to: resume and cover letter templates, layouts, interface design, source code, algorithms, instructional text, illustrations, and visual elements — are the exclusive intellectual property of Skillogies and are protected under applicable copyright, trademark, and other proprietary rights laws.
By using the platform, you do not acquire any ownership rights to Skillogies itself or to any of its underlying technology, design elements, or content. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the platform solely for the purpose of creating your own career documents, in accordance with these Terms.
You agree not to:
Your Content
Any resumes, cover letters, or other materials that you create using Skillogies remain your personal content. You retain all rights to your user-generated content, and we do not claim ownership of the documents you produce.
By using our platform, you grant us a limited right to store, display, and process your content solely for the purpose of providing you with the service. We do not access your content for any other reason, and we never share your personal data or documents with third parties without your explicit consent, except where required by law.
If you delete your account, we will remove your content from our active systems in accordance with our data retention policy. Please note that some backups may be retained for a limited time for technical and legal purposes, but will not be used or accessed.
4. Platform Integrity and Security
We take the security, stability, and reliability of the Skillogies platform seriously. Our goal is to ensure that every user can benefit from a smooth, safe, and uninterrupted experience.
Our Commitment to Security
Skillogies uses industry-standard technical and organizational measures to protect your account information and any content you create. These measures include, but are not limited to:
Secure data transmission via SSL encryption,
Regular infrastructure monitoring and updates,
Role-based access controls on internal systems,
Secure payment processing via trusted third-party providers.
While we make every effort to safeguard your data and maintain platform integrity, no system is completely immune to potential threats. For this reason, we cannot guarantee absolute protection against unauthorized access, cyberattacks, or data breaches.
Your Responsibility
As a user, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. We recommend choosing a strong password and not sharing your account with others.
You agree not to:
Attempt to bypass or disable any security features of the platform,
Interfere with or disrupt the performance, functionality, or accessibility of Skillogies,
Upload or transmit malicious software, scripts, or code,
Engage in any activity that compromises the privacy or security of other users.
If you suspect that your account has been compromised or you notice any suspicious activity, please contact our support team immediately at support[at]skillogies.com.
Device Safety
To help protect your experience and your documents, we recommend that you:
Keep your device software and antivirus programs up to date,
Avoid accessing Skillogies from public or unsecured networks,
Perform regular scans for malware or unauthorized activity.
5. Account Access and Login
To ensure both security and convenience, Skillogies offers multiple login methods. When creating or accessing your account, you may choose the method that suits you best.
By default, login is provided via a secure access link sent to your registered email address. This link is unique, time-limited, and does not require a password. You may continue using access links to log in at any time — this method remains available indefinitely and is fully supported for ongoing access.
If you wish to switch to password-based login, you can do so after logging in with an access link. Once inside your account, you can manually set a password. From that moment on, you’ll be able to log in using either your email and password combination or continue using secure access links.
Skillogies also supports Google login, allowing you to access your account quickly using your Google credentials, provided your Skillogies account was created with the same email address.
For users seeking additional protection, we strongly encourage enabling Two-Factor Authentication (2FA). This feature adds a second layer of security by requiring a code generated by an external authentication app (such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, or Authy) installed on your mobile device. Skillogies does not generate or manage 2FA codes directly and cannot assist with code recovery if your authenticator app is lost or deleted.
In addition to your login email, you may optionally add a secondary email address that will appear within your resume and/or cover letter. This secondary email is intended solely for display purposes and does not affect login, password recovery, or account communications. You can update it once every 90 days through your account settings.
It is your responsibility to keep your login credentials secure, avoid sharing them with others, and ensure that your account remains protected at all times. If you suspect unauthorized access, please contact us immediately at support[at]skillogies.com.
6. Third-Party Content and Links
As part of your experience on Skillogies, you may encounter links to third-party websites, services, or external tools that are not operated or controlled by us.
Additionally, our platform may display or incorporate third-party content — such as illustrations, icons, or background images — that are used under appropriate licenses from external content providers.
Third-Party Content and Attribution
Some visual elements featured on our website, in document previews, or in template designs may originate from third-party sources, including stock media libraries. These assets are included in accordance with the licensing terms of their respective providers.
In particular, we use stock images provided by Freepik under the terms of the Freepik Free License, which allows for use in non-commercial and editorial contexts, such as CV previews or design layouts.
If you intend to reuse any such visuals outside of Skillogies (for example, on printed products, in apps, or for resale), it is your responsibility to verify the licensing terms and obtain the necessary rights directly from the content provider. Skillogies does not grant sublicenses to any third-party visual assets.
External Links and Interactions
Throughout the platform, we may provide links to external websites or services to enhance your user experience or offer additional resources. These third-party platforms are entirely independent of Skillogies, and we have no control over their content, availability, data practices, or business decisions.
We do not endorse, guarantee, or assume responsibility for the accuracy, legality, or quality of any third-party website or service. Your use of such services is entirely at your own discretion and risk.
Any interaction you have with third-party providers — including signing up, making payments, or submitting personal information — is governed by their respective terms of service and privacy policies. We strongly recommend reviewing those documents carefully before engaging with any third-party offering.
Skillogies shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or disruption caused by your use of, or reliance on, external websites, services, or content.
7. Premium Plans and Payments
While Skillogies offers selected tools and features free of charge, access to advanced functionality — such as additional templates, formatting options, design flexibility, and full document downloads — is available through a Premium subscription.
All Premium plans are one-time purchases. We do not offer recurring subscriptions or automatic renewals. When you choose a plan, you pay a single, upfront fee for access during the selected period. Once that period ends, your Premium access expires automatically, and no further charges are applied unless you choose to purchase another plan manually.
Subscription and Activation
Premium plans are offered as fixed-term packages (e.g., 7-day, 1-month, 3-month, etc.), with clear base prices shown at the time of purchase. Depending on your location, applicable taxes (such as sales tax or VAT) may be added during checkout. The final price, including any taxes, will be displayed before you confirm your payment.
Your Premium access becomes available immediately after successful payment, and will remain active for the full duration of the plan you selected. A confirmation email and receipt will be sent to the email address provided during registration. If you do not receive this email within 24 hours, please check your spam folder or contact our support team.
It is your responsibility to ensure that your email address is correct and that your payment method is valid at the time of purchase.
You may purchase multiple Premium plans in advance. These plans are automatically queued and activated in order of priority. If plans of different tiers or durations are purchased, the one with the longer access period will be activated first. If you purchase the same plan type multiple times, they will activate sequentially, one after another.
If you purchase a higher-tier Premium plan while another plan is already active, your current plan will be automatically paused. The higher-tier plan will become active immediately, and the remaining time on the paused plan will resume after the higher-tier plan expires.
Only after all paid plans in the queue have expired will your account revert to the free version. The remaining number of days in your active plan is visible in your user account interface.
Payment Processing
All payments are securely processed via trusted third-party payment providers. Skillogies uses Stripe as its integrated payment processing platform. By making a payment, you agree to Stripe’s terms and privacy policy, in addition to our Terms of Service. We do not not store or have access to your full credit card or payment details at any time. If your transaction fails or is declined, no access to Premium features will be granted.
Depending on your location and currency, foreign transaction fees, local taxes, or exchange rate differences may apply. These are handled by your bank or payment provider and are beyond our control.
Invoicing and Billing
Receipts are automatically generated and sent via email after each completed payment. These serve as proof of purchase and include all standard details for personal (non-business) transactions.
Skillogies is a B2C platform and does not issue VAT invoices. All purchases are processed via Stripe, and we do not provide additional billing documents beyond the standard receipt.
If you experience any payment-related issues, such as being charged but not receiving access, please notify us at support[at]skillogies.com. We will investigate the issue promptly and, where applicable, restore access or issue a refund in accordance with our refund policy (see Section 8).
Premium Features Preview and Restrictions
Skillogies allows users on the free plan to interact with many of the Premium features, including access to advanced templates or styling elements. This allows you to experience the full capabilities of our builder before making a purchase. However, downloading your document is disabled until you activate a Premium plan.
Please note that while you can preview your document layout on the free plan, the text may appear scrambled or distorted. This is intentional and serves as a protective measure to prevent unauthorized use of Premium layouts. Once a Premium plan is activated, all document content will display correctly.
Plan Expiration and Access Limitations
When your Premium plan expires, your account automatically reverts to the free version of the service. As a result, certain features and access levels will be restricted. Specifically, users on a free plan can access a maximum of two documents. If you created more than two documents during your Premium period, the remaining documents will be temporarily inaccessible until a new Premium plan is purchased. Your content will not be deleted, but it will remain locked until upgraded access is restored.
Price Changes and Plan Adjustments
Skillogies reserves the right to adjust pricing of its plans, introduce new packages or modify the features associated with any plan at any time. These changes will not affect active (or queued) Premium plans until their current term ends.
If changes affect future purchases, the updated prices and conditions will be clearly communicated on the website before you complete a new transaction. Promotional pricing or limited-time offers may be introduced at our discretion and are valid only during the specified period. We do not retroactively apply discounts or offers to past purchases.
8. Cancellations and Refunds
When you purchase a Premium plan, you gain immediate access to digital tools, templates, and features designed to support your job application process. Because this access is granted right after payment, and the service is fully delivered in a digital environment, we do not offer cancellations or refunds after your Premium access has been activated. By completing your purchase, you agree that the service will begin immediately and that you forfeit your right to cancel or request a refund, even if you choose not to use the features provided.
We believe in being transparent and fair. If you experience a technical issue that prevents you from accessing your Premium plan — for example, if your account is not upgraded properly after payment — please contact our support team at support[at]killogies.com. We will investigate your case and, if the issue was caused on our side, provide a suitable resolution, which may include restoring access or issuing a refund.

9. Changes to Services or Terms
We are constantly working to improve Skillogies and adapt to evolving technologies, market expectations, and user needs. For this reason, we may occasionally make changes to our platform, available features, pricing, or these Terms of Service.
Whenever we make material changes to the Terms, we will notify you in a manner appropriate to the nature of the update. This may include a notice on the platform, an update banner, or an email sent to the address linked to your account. In some cases, we may provide advance notice before the new terms take effect.
By continuing to use Skillogies after any updates have been made, you agree to the revised Terms. If you do not agree with the updated version, you may discontinue using the platform and, if applicable, allow your Premium access to expire at the end of its term.
Please note that we do not issue partial refunds for unused Premium access in cases where a user disagrees with the updated Terms. Access to the full set of features is granted at the time of purchase, and the plan remains valid for its full duration regardless of subsequent changes to the Terms.
We encourage you to review the Terms regularly to stay informed about your rights and responsibilities as a user. The “Effective Date” at the top of this document indicates when the most recent version came into force.
10. Account Suspension and Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Skillogies — either temporarily or permanently — if we believe that you have violated these Terms, misused the platform, or engaged in behavior that may harm other users, our systems, or our business integrity.
Examples of actions that may result in suspension or termination include, but are not limited to:
Attempting to manipulate, disable, or interfere with the platform’s functionality or security,
Using Skillogies for unauthorized commercial purposes or third-party content resale,
Sharing or selling access to your account,
Uploading harmful or malicious content (e.g., scripts, bots, phishing attempts),
Repeatedly breaching acceptable use guidelines despite prior warnings.
We may also suspend or delete inactive accounts after an extended period of non-use, particularly if no documents or user data remain stored in the account. In most cases, we will provide a warning or attempt to resolve the issue before taking any permanent action. However, we reserve the right to suspend or disable an account immediately and without notice if we determine that urgent action is necessary to protect the platform or its users.
If your account is suspended or terminated:
You will no longer have access to your saved documents or Premium features,
No refunds will be issued for any remaining time in your Premium plan unless the termination was caused by a verified system error or action on our part.
If we detect misuse or suspicious activity, we may take appropriate measures, which may include:
Temporarily or permanently disabling access to your account,
Blocking access from specific IP addresses or devices,
Restricting certain features, or
Initiating legal action in cases of serious or repeated violations.
If you believe your account was suspended or terminated in error, you may contact us at support[at]skillogies.com to request a review. We will evaluate your case and respond in a reasonable timeframe.
11. Limitation of Liability
Skillogies is designed to support your career development by providing high-quality digital tools and resources. While we strive to ensure reliable performance and user satisfaction, our platform and services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without any warranties of any kind — express or implied.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Skillogies and its team shall not be held liable for:
Any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages, including but not limited to loss of income, business interruption, loss of data, or emotional distress;
Any issues arising from your use of — or inability to use — the platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages;
Any unauthorized access to or use of your account or content, including data breaches or loss caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control;
The conduct, content, or services of third parties (including third-party providers, linked websites, or external content embedded in our platform);
Temporary outages, system maintenance, software bugs, or interruptions in access to the platform.
We do not guarantee that Skillogies will be available at all times, free from errors or defects, or that it will meet your individual expectations. We also do not guarantee that your documents will be stored indefinitely — although we take reasonable steps to prevent data loss, you are responsible for backing up your own content.
In jurisdictions that do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain liabilities, our liability will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Your use of Skillogies is at your own risk. By using the platform, you agree to these limitations as part of our overall Terms.
12. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Poland.
Any disputes arising out of or relating to the use of Skillogies or these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Warsaw, Poland, without regard to conflict of law principles.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of law, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
